13 is perhaps the most literal portrait of the building, employing as it does a vertically descending tracking shot through each of the twelve floors. From the locations of the two previous films to views of a garment shop, a storage space filled with cardboard boxes, rock musicians rehearsing, a photo shoot with a Ronald McDonald clown (the protagonist of Chrysalide Empereur, whose role is analogous to the businessman’s), various workshops and office spaces, 13 dissects the inside workings of the building.
